The Sunshine Coasts Biggest Christmas Surprise

An invitation from Hot 91 to the movies turned into the most amazing surprise imaginable. Families from Compass arrived to meet Santa and let him know their Christmas wish. We totally enjoyed the movie Arthur Christmas and then the biggest surprise of all. The wishes were granted as Hot 91.1 staff arrived laden with wrapped iPads, x boxes and smart TVs. They even managed a trampoline !! While we were relaxing in the air conditioned cinemas at, Hot 91.1 staff we’re running around the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre granting wishes. Would have to be the best Christmas surprise I have ever witnessed. Thanks so much to our wonderful friends at Hot 91.1 and Maroochy Homemaker Centre for inviting us to be part of this very special event. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and we are so grateful for your generosity… The video says it all;

Fluro Friday Jazzercise

A big thank you to Jazzercise Nambour & Cooroy for running the fundraiser for Compass and for putting on an excellent evening.

The trainees had such a wonderful time and really love opportunities like this to be included in mainstream activities such as this.

Looking forward to the next one!!

New Compass Assistance dog – Amour

CAD is introducing Amour – he is a rescue dog from SCARS who is currently being assessed with the view to him joining the scheme. At CAD we are dedicated to giving rescue dogs a second chance. As you can see he is a relaxed boy who is taking everything in his (big) stride, we will keep you informed on his progress.

Cricks makes an awesome donation!

“Thank you” can become a bit worn when you’re the recipient of a constant stream of heartfelt generosity… but in the end it’s all we can say… so once again thank you on behalf of all the young people and the whole team at Compass Institute.  We are very grateful for the support from Matt, Dan and all the wonderful people at Cricks Noosa and Nambour

Compass Farm Open Day

The Farm Open Day

Yesterday, June 15th, Compass Farm held its annual Open Day, and boy what an open day it was.  With 200 plus attendees, the open day saw parents, families and schools come to visit the farm to see what Compass has to offer.

The most exciting part of the day was announcing the birth of twin baby lambs to mom Celine.
