It was another great day for Compass, as we made headlines again. This time on the cover of today’s edition of the Nambour Weekly and a wonderful write up on page 4 about our recent Endeavour Foundation grant. “Rake and Panes”, the garden maintenance branch of the Compass Institute was featured in the weekly, with high praise coming from Endeavour Foundation’s CEO David Barbagallo.
Mr. Barbagallo applauded the “Rakes and Panes” program, saying “This is a great social enterprise, where people are doing meaningful work.”
Compass trainees at the Palmwoods farm were completely excited about the article and said they were glad to see that the Compass was getting the exposure it deserves.
After making our first wonderful ‘poultry paradise’ we are in need of donations of old trailers to continue with the construction of the portable chook sheds. Our Trainees have worked so hard creating this amazing shed and are keen to continue this project, so we are looking for old unregistered trailers or anything with a strong wheel base.
If you have anything like this we would love to hear from you!
