The Compass institute is a post school day service and is partially funded in that capacity by the QLD and Federal Government.

Compass recognises that people’s needs extend well beyond the parameters of the day service. While there is no Government funding available for Compass lifestyle Services we are committed to extending our services to assist in meeting those needs where ever possible.

Projects such as the Independent Living Training Centre (ILTC) are futuristic in concept, however are integral to addressing the critical issue of aging carers in Australia. The ILTC is an extension of the key Compass principle of lifelong learning.

Sports Ability & Home Solutions form two important pillars for assisting young people with disabilities to be integrated into their community in such a way that they can fill valued roles in that community.
